Helen Jin Kim is an Associate Professor of American Religious History at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. Her research examines U.S. religion in a global context, focusing on transnational Asian American religious histories and U.S.-Asia-Pacific connections. She holds a PhD and MDiv from Harvard University (2017 and 2012) and a BA from Stanford University (2006).

Her research interests include Cold War religious diplomacy, Korean-American evangelicalism, and the globalization of U.S. religious movements.
