Usha Haley is the W. Frank Barton Distinguished Chair in International Business and Professor of Management at the Barton School of Business, Wichita State University. She serves as Director of the Center for International Business Advancement and Chair of the World Trade Council of Wichita. With experience across five continents, her research focuses on multinational corporations, international strategic management, and business-government relations in Asian and emerging markets.
- Research areas: Innovation, technology development, strategic decision-making, sanctions and subsidies
- Testified before the U.S. Senate on foreign direct investment and contributed to federal regulations
- Recipient of the Academy of Management’s Practice Impact Award and Economist's 'Thought Leader' recognition
She has secured competitive grants from the National Science Foundation, Academy of Management, and other institutions for work on global supply chains and technology development. Her research has been profiled over 500 times in media outlets like the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Economist.
