Dr. Ursula Probst is a Research Associate at the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology, Freie Universität Berlin, specializing in Medical Anthropology and Global Health. Her work critically examines migrant sex workers' experiences, focusing on gendered, racialized, and sexualized dimensions of labor migration in Europe. She completed her PhD in May 2022, funded by the Elsa-Neumann-Scholarship.

- Teaching: Ethnographic methods, gender/sexuality studies, and medical anthropology
Her research employs queerfeminist materialist and postcolonial approaches to analyze embodied experiences under structural inequalities. She has published extensively on topics including migrant healthcare access, pandemic regulations, and European East-West disparities.
Recent publications highlight intersections of race, gender, and labor in healthcare systems, with a focus on pandemic impacts and racialized labor markets. Her monograph 'Prekäre Freizügigkeiten' (2023) examines Eastern European migrant sex workers in Berlin.
