Dr. Urska Dobersek is a faculty member at the University of Southern Indiana (USI) in the Department of Psychology, College of Liberal Arts. Her research focuses on identities, sexual selection, objectification of women, and the intersection of diet and mental health.
Research Focus:
- Investigates dietary patterns and their impact on mental health, particularly examining restrictive diets like veganism/vegetarianism
- Studies objectification and self-objectification in fitness environments
- Explores mate value and sexual selection dynamics across diverse populations
