Uri Gneezy is the Epstein/Atkinson Chair in Behavioral Economics and Professor of Economics and Strategy at the Rady School of Management, UC San Diego. Previously, he held positions at the University of Chicago, Technion, and the University of Haifa. He earned his Ph.D. from Tilburg University's Center for Economic Research. His research bridges behavioral economics and real-world applications, focusing on incentives, deception detection, and field experiments. Key topics include the effects of small/large incentives, Pay-What-You-Want pricing, and interventions to promote positive behaviors.
