Uma Ramamurthy

Uma Ramamurthy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and serves as Executive Director of the Office of Research IT. Her work bridges clinical research, bioethics, and healthcare informatics, with a focus on pediatric medicine and genomic sequencing. She leads international registries and clinical trials, such as the BabySeq Project exploring newborn genomic sequencing, and contributes to AI-driven cognitive models.
