Ulrike Grosch

Ulrike Grosch is a Professor at the Lucerne School of Music (HSLU), affiliated with the Institute of Classical and Church Music. She holds a prominent role as Choir Director at the Franziskanerkirche Luzern and leads the Collegium Vocale zu Franziskanern, a vocal ensemble for Swiss music students. Her expertise spans choral conducting, with a focus on Baroque music, Romantic-era choral works, and 20th-century compositions.

Her career includes teaching at the Universität der Künste Berlin alongside Uwe Gronostay, collaborations with renowned artists like Ton Koopman (Amsterdam Baroque Choir), and work with radio choirs under conductors such as Peter Schreier and Simon Halsey. She has prepared concerts, radio recordings, and CD productions across Europe.

Notable activities include founding the Collegium Vocale in 2005 and maintaining a dual focus on historical performance practices and contemporary choral repertoire. Her work emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration between academic training and professional ensemble performance.
