Piotr Zawistowski

Piotr Zawistowski serves as Professor and Head of the Chair of Vocal Pedagogy at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, Branch in Białystok, within the Department of Instrumental and Educational Studies. He has maintained active pedagogical engagement at the institution since 2011, shaping vocal education through his leadership in the Vocal Pedagogy department.

His scholarly and artistic work centers on Vocal Pedagogy, Choral Conducting, and Ensemble Singing, with deep specialization in Baroque Music and Historical Performance Practice. He refined ensemble techniques through masterclasses with The King’s Singers and maintains extensive collaborations with leading ensembles including Polish groups Capella Cracoviensis, Diletto, Ars Nova, Harmonia Sacra, and Scepus Baroque, alongside international ensembles Le Poéme Harmonique, Les Musiciens du Louvre, and Collegium Vocale 1704.
