Ulrike Bergermann is a Professor of Media Studies at the University of Art in Braunschweig, Germany since 2009. Her research focuses on Gender Studies, Postcolonialism, and the history of knowledge, with particular attention to cultural property rights and colonial history representations. She holds a PhD from Heidelberg/Hamburg (1999) and completed habilitation research through a Lise Meitner grant in UK/US archives.
