Dr. Ulrich Steinwandel is a Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Edith Cowan University (ECU), with 33 years of clinical experience in haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. He holds a PhD in Nursing (2018) and a Nephrology Nursing qualification from Germany (2013). His research focuses on improving outcomes for chronic kidney disease patients, particularly through point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in vascular access and fluid status assessment.
