Agatha Caracciolo is a Lecturer (Indigenous Knowledges) at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Edith Cowan University (ECU). She is a Murr/Yarabah woman from the Torres Strait Islands and Yarrabah, Queensland. Aggie supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students as a Student Ambassador and actively engages with organizations like CATSINaM, NOWSA, and SAMHS. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Nursing, 2015), Graduate Diploma in Mental Health (2018), and Professional Equivalence (2022), with ongoing studies in a Master of Nursing (Research) at ECU.
Research & Roles: Her work focuses on Indigenous health, mental health nursing, and cultural competency. She advocates for reconciliation and health equity through her teaching and community engagement.
