Ulrich Duve

Ulrich Duve serves as a Lecturer in Music History and Jazz at the University of the Arts Bremen since his 2002 appointment. He maintains dual professional engagement as Managing Director of the Klaus Kuhnke Archive for Popular Music, a role he assumed in 1990 after joining the archive in 1985.

His scholarly focus centers on jazz historiography through dual lenses: technical musicological analysis of jazz evolution and critical examination of jazz within broader socio-cultural contexts.
