Ulla Saari is a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Innovation and Technology Research (CITER) at Tampere University, Finland. Previously, she served as an Assistant Professor of Sustainable Business at Jönköping International Business School (2019–2020). Her research focuses on sustainable production and consumption, circular economy, and sustainability-oriented innovation. She holds a D.Sc. (Tech) in Industrial Engineering & Management from Tampere University of Technology, an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering, and an M.A. in Languages and Social Sciences from the University of Helsinki.
In 2020–2021, she hosted the MMTC podcast series Social Innovation and Sustainable Business Talks, exploring transitions to a circular, resilient economy through discussions with industry practitioners and academics. Recordings are available via an external link.
