Uli Würfel

Dr. Uli Würfel is a Responsible Investigator at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in Freiburg, Germany. His research focuses on organic solar cells, electrochemical/photoelectrochemical actuators, and high-voltage energy systems. He leads projects like Solstore II and PhotoECact, advancing flexible solar modules and hybrid energy storage solutions. His work integrates organic photovoltaics with dielectric elastomer actuators for energy autonomy in IoT applications.
