Ulf Moslener

Prof. Ulf Moslener is a Professor of Sustainable Energy Finance at the Frankfurt School of Economics and Technology and Head of its Finance Department. He also serves as Scientific Director of the FS-UNEP Collaborating Centre for Climate and Sustainable Energy Finance. His research focuses on climate finance, sustainable energy systems, and the economics of climate change. He has held leadership roles including Vice Chair of the World Bank’s CIFs Advisory Group and Deputy Chairman of Germany’s Green and Sustainable Finance Cluster. Previously, he worked at the ZEW Research Center and KfW Development Bank, focusing on renewable energy financing in developing nations. He holds a physics degree and a PhD in environmental economics from Heidelberg and Mannheim Universities.
