Tyler Cymet

Tyler Cymet serves as Chair of the Department of Medicine and Primary Care at the Illinois College of Osteopathic Medicine (IllinoisCOM), part of The Chicago School. A distinguished clinician-scientist, he bridges medical practice, education, and research with notable contributions including co-identifying Erondu-Cymet Syndrome and pioneering work on postal anthrax treatment during the 2001 bioterrorism events.
