Tugce Nimet Yasar

Dr. Tugce Nimet Yasar is a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance (since January 2023) and an Assistant Professor at Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University's Department of Commercial Law (since 2018). Her expertise spans Commercial Law, Corporate Law, and Compliance, with a focus on arbitration, data protection, and regulatory frameworks in joint stock companies. She holds a Ph.D. from Ankara University (2012–2018) and has conducted research at institutions such as Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich and the University of Bremen.

Key research interests include the validity of jurisdiction clauses in international contracts, competition compliance programs, and the liability of corporate boards. She has published extensively on topics like corporate governance, legal compliance mechanisms, and Turkish Commercial Code interpretations. Her work bridges legal theory and practical applications, particularly in multinational corporate environments.
