Tudorel Silviu CLINCI

Dr. Tudorel Silviu CLINCI serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Topography and Cadastre within the Faculty of Geodesy at the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest (UTCB). Holding a Doctor of Science in Civil Engineering, he is a certified professional authorized by ANCPI (National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration) for topographic, cadastral, and geodetic works.

His academic credentials include:

• Graduation from the Faculty of Geodesy (Geodesy Specialization) in 2003
• Advanced Studies in Territorial Information Systems Specialization in 2004
• Doctor of Science in Engineering Sciences (Civil Engineering) in 2013 with thesis 'Research on the use of unconventional positioning techniques'

Dr. CLINCI's research spans precision geodetic measurement techniques, including drone-based photogrammetry and terrestrial laser scanning for 3D modeling, alongside spatial data infrastructure development. His work integrates BIM, GIS, and CAD systems to monitor land/building behavior over time and advance engineering geodetic methodologies through interdisciplinary approaches.

He has directed one research project and contributed to six others, producing 14 ISI-indexed articles, 23 conference proceedings, and 9 books. Dr. CLINCI actively supervises graduate students in Terrestrial Measurements and has delivered 12 conference presentations internationally.

As a core member of UTCB's Engineering Geodetic Measurements and Spatial Data Infrastructures research center, he mentors emerging researchers and drives innovation in geospatial technology applications.
