Assoc Prof Tuan TRAN is an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He joined NTU in 2013 as a Nanyang Assistant Professor in the Division of Thermal and Fluids Engineering.
Education:
- BSc in Engineering Mechanics, Hanoi University of Science, Vietnam (2004)
- PhD, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA (2010)
- Postdoctoral Researcher, University of Twente, The Netherlands
Research interests: His work spans Energy, Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, and Water & Sustainability, with a focus on Fluid Dynamics and Thermal Engineering. His doctoral research on thin-film flows and turbulent frictional drag has contributed to advancements in fluid mechanics and sustainable engineering systems.
