Dr. Tu Le is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering at RMIT University, specializing in Machine Learning for Materials Science and Engineering. Her research focuses on advanced materials for clean energy, environmental sustainability, and healthcare applications, including metal-organic frameworks, liquid metal alloys, and antimicrobial polymers. She has been recognized with awards such as the Jacques-Émile Dubois Award and the RMIT Vice Chancellor’s Fellowship. Dr. Le’s work spans CO₂ capture, photocatalyst design, and additive manufacturing, leveraging computational and experimental methods.
Her research portfolio includes over 70 publications in top journals like Chemical Reviews and Angewandte Chemie. She has led projects on materials for wireless charging, AI-driven metamaterial design, and sustainable functional materials. Dr. Le is actively involved in academic and industrial collaborations, including roles as a keynote speaker at international conferences like the European Materials Research Society Fall Meeting.
Dr. Le is open to supervising Masters and PhD students in materials science and computational methods. Her research emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, combining machine learning with experimental validation to accelerate material discovery and optimization.
