Tristan Ellenberger

Tristan Ellenberger is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of History, Classics, and Religion at the University of Alberta. He teaches courses on Greek and Roman mythology, Latin language, and social history of antiquity.

His instructional portfolio includes beginner and intensive Latin courses alongside thematic studies of sexuality, ritual practices, and cultural narratives in classical civilizations. Ellenberger integrates material culture and literary sources to examine Mediterranean societies from Archaic Greece to Late Antiquity.
