Tripp Strawbridge

Tripp Strawbridge is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Santa Clara University's College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Minnesota (2020), specializing in second language acquisition. His research focuses on how university students acquire Spanish through study abroad experiences, emphasizing social relationships and technology-mediated learning. He serves as Assistant Editor for the Journal of Spanish Language Teaching and is certified as an ACTFL Spanish Oral Proficiency Interview tester.
