Trina Brown

Trina Brown is a Professor of Psychology at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Atlanta, GA since 2006. She also serves as Chair of the Academic Integrity Council since 2010 and led the development of a new Faculty Council. Her work focuses on creative resilience in students as a retention tool. Brown holds a Ph.D., M.A., and B.A. in Psychology from Emory University and Spelman College, respectively.

Her research explores trauma narratives, child development, and educational resilience. She has collaborated on projects analyzing communal trauma impacts and children's emotional narrative structures. Her publications address topics like collective trauma, child memory development, and maternal influences on attachment. She has presented at major conferences such as SRCD and SARMAC.

Brown's career includes curriculum development for diverse learners, IEP management, and innovative teaching methods in psychology and statistics courses.
