Peili Wang

Peili Wang is a Professor of Interior Design at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta, where she has held this position since 2004. She also serves as Design Director for PLH and Jiazi Housing Industrial Systems in China (since 2012) and owns WW Studio in Atlanta (since 2008). Her professional background includes roles at Cooper Carry Inc. and the Second China Railway Civil Engineering Group Corp. Wang is a prominent figure in design communication and architectural illustration, recognized through awards like the 2020 Excellence Award in the International Architecture Illustration Competition. She actively contributes to academic organizations such as the American Society of Architectural Illustrators (ASAI) and chairs committees like the SCAD Atlanta Sustainability Council (2014–15).

Her teaching philosophy integrates hands-on practice with theoretical frameworks to foster innovative design solutions.

Advising & Leadership: As Faculty Advisor to the SCAD Atlanta Interior Design Student Organization (iDO) since 2017, she mentors students in professional development and exhibition participation. She has coordinated roles including Graduate Coordinator and Conference Chair for international design events.

Exhibitions: Her work has been featured in major venues like the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Harmony and Evolution exhibition and the Visualizing Architectural Design Exhibition at the 2011 UIA World Congress in Tokyo.
