Triin Kurrikoff is a Lecturer in Biological Psychology at the University of Tartu's Faculty of Social Sciences, Institute of Psychology (since 2022) and a Research Fellow in Neuropsychopharmacology at the Faculty of Science and Technology's Institute of Chemistry (since 2021). She holds a Doctorate in Psychology (2012) and a Master's in Public Health (2006) from the University of Tartu.

She has co-authored over 25 peer-reviewed articles and contributed to long-term cohort studies like the Estonian Longitudinal Children Study (ELIKTU).
Major awards include a 2013 publication stipend and recognition for graduate research. She supervises students in public health and psychology, and participates in grants exploring neurobiology, resilience, and youth skills.
