Trias Mansilla, Daniel

Daniel Trias Mansilla is an Associate Professor at the University of Girona, affiliated with the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Construction Engineering within the School of Engineering. He is also the Coordinator of the Degree in Engineering in Industrial Technologies and, since 2023, the Double Degree in Business Administration and Management and Engineering in Industrial Technologies.

His educational background includes an Industrial Engineering degree (1999) and a PhD (2005) from the University of Girona, with a dissertation on the fracture of fiber-reinforced composites. He gained research experience at the National Centre for Renewable Energies (CENER) from 2006 to 2008.

His research focuses on composite materials, particularly in structural optimization and fracture mechanics. He is a key member of the Research Group on Analysis and Advanced Materials for Structural Design (AMADE), contributing to the advancement of materials for engineering applications.
