Trevor Prior

Trevor Prior is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London's Centre of Sports and Exercise Medicine within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. A Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at Homerton University Hospital, he has over 30 years of experience specializing in biomechanics of the lower limb, orthoses, gait analysis, sports injuries, diabetic foot management, and foot surgery. He contributed to developing the first Post Graduate Certificate in Podiatric Sports Medicine (launched 2016).

His research focuses on translating clinical evidence into practice, particularly in sports medicine education and injury prevention. Current interests include evaluating sports-specific technique assessment to predict/prevent injuries. He collaborates on the MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine and intercalated BSc programs.

Labs/Teams: Active member of the William Harvey Research Institute's Sports and Exercise Medicine research group, contributing to multidisciplinary projects in musculoskeletal care.
