Trent Seltzer is an Associate Professor at Texas Tech University in the Department of Public Relations, College of Media & Communication. He holds a Ph.D. in Journalism & Communication (2007) and an M.A. in Communications (2000) from University of Florida and University of Central Florida, respectively.
Research Interests include organization-public relationships (OPR) in political and health contexts, strategic communication campaigns, and social media's role in relationship management. He has expanded his work into adolescent mental health communication and media portrayals.
Recent publications examine transparency in crisis messaging, water conservation in the beer industry, political party relationship dynamics, and social media engagement strategies.
