Dr. Nathan Gilkerson is an Associate Professor and Chair in the Department of Communication Studies and Strategic Communication at Marquette University's Diederich College of Communication. He holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in English and Psychology from Luther College. His research focuses on political communication, public relations measurement, social media activism, health communication, and the role of satire in political messaging. Dr. Gilkerson has extensive industry experience, including roles in advertising and political communications, blending academic rigor with practical insights.
