Dr. Treniece Lewis Harris is an Associate Professor of the Practice in the Lynch School of Education and Human Development at Boston College. She serves as Program Director for the Mental Health Counseling, M.A. program. With expertise in child/adolescent psychology and multicultural mental health, she focuses on cultural identity development, social determinants of mental health, and intersectionality in therapy. Licensed in Massachusetts since 1998, she teaches courses like Multicultural Issues and Theories of Counseling & Personality II.
Her work emphasizes multicultural mental health care and DEI curriculum development. Awards include Harvard Medical School's Division of Psychology Teaching Award (2018) and the Gold Humanism Scholarship (2013).
