Travis Vogan is a Professor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Iowa, specializing in sport, media, and U.S. cultural studies. His research explores film/television history, documentaries, and the interplay between 'high' and 'low' culture. He holds a Ph.D. from Indiana University (2011).
