Roles & Affiliations: Ted Mandell is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Film, Television, and Theatre at the University of Notre Dame, part of the College of Arts and Letters. He has taught film and television production there for 36 years. His roles include faculty advisor for Notre Dame Studios, director of two Summer Scholars programs, and organizer of the annual Notre Dame Student Film Festival.
Research & Teaching: Specializing in documentary filmmaking and sports production, Mandell teaches courses like Intro to Film and Television Production, Documentary Production, and the unique Drunk on Film: The Psychology of Storytelling with Alcohol.
