Dr. Travis Cox is a Core Associate Professor in the Ecopsychology Department at Naropa University, specializing in the intersections of social movements, environmental philosophy, psychedelics, and deep sustainability. He holds a PhD in Sustainable Agriculture from Iowa State University, an MA in Philosophy and Religion from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and a BA in Philosophy from Central College. His research explores consciousness, activism, and ecological interconnectedness, emphasizing how psychedelics can catalyze transformative environmental and social change.
Dr. Cox teaches courses such as Initiatory Contemplative Ecopsychology Intensive and Winter Ecopsychology Intensive, focusing on topics like transpersonal psychology, deep ecology, and sustainability.
