Tracy Taylor is a Lecturer in the School of Education at Edith Cowan University. She specializes in curriculum differentiation, assessment, gifted education, inclusive education, and 21st-century skills. Her teaching includes courses such as Assessment in Education and Including Children with Special Educational Needs. Taylor holds a PhD from Edith Cowan University (2016) and a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of Wollongong (1999).
Her research focuses on fostering collaboration and creative thinking through extracurricular activities, as evidenced by her 2023 publication in Thinking Skills and Creativity. She currently co-supervises a PhD on the experiences of carers of gifted children with dyslexia and acts as an associate supervisor for research on digital learning in Vietnamese EFL contexts.
Taylor is involved in initiatives like the Partners in Literacy and Numeracy (PLaN) and WA Internships, contributing to teacher education and community engagement.
