Tracy J. Trothen is a Professor of Ethics jointly appointed to Queen's University's School of Religion and School of Rehabilitation Therapy. She holds degrees from Queen's University (BA, MDiv) and a ThD from the University of Toronto. Her research explores intersections of technology, ethics, and religion, with focuses on artificial intelligence, transhumanism, sport enhancement, spiritual health, and aging. A Fellow of the International Society for Science and Religion (ISSR), she co-authored a prize-winning book on biohacking and transhumanism. Trothen is also a certified Specialist and Supervisor-Educator in Clinical Spiritual Health (Canadian Association of Spiritual Care).
