Dr. Tracie Afifi is a Professor in Community Health Sciences and Psychiatry at the University of Manitoba, holding a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Childhood Adversity and Resilience. She leads the Childhood Adversity and Resilience (CARe) Research Team and is affiliated with the Manitoba Population Mental Health Research Group and the Canadian Institute of Public Safety Research and Treatment (CIPSRT). Her work focuses on child maltreatment, mental health resilience, and prevention strategies, with global policy impacts.
