Dr. Tracey Kuit is a Professor and Associate Dean (Education) at the University of Wollongong, specializing in biochemistry and molecular biology education. She leads pedagogical innovation in science curricula with a focus on blended learning, ePortfolios, and technology-enhanced laboratory teaching. Her research employs action-research cycles to develop students' lifelong learning skills through global challenges exploration.
Education includes a Ph.D. in Microbiology and M.Ed. in Higher Education from Wollongong. She chairs the Education Special Interest Group for the Australian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and serves on the Education and Training Committee for the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Research interests center on improving science education through technology integration, professional identity formation, and interdisciplinary approaches. Recent publications analyze hybrid learning engagement and curriculum reconciliation in health sciences.
Honors include the Shimadzu Education Award and dual William R. Jones Outstanding Mentor Awards. She mentors faculty in teaching innovation across Australia and internationally.
