Tracey Hayes

Tracey Hayes is a Senior Lecturer in Children's Nursing at Buckinghamshire New University, where she has been teaching since 2019. She teaches across all campuses and nursing programs, including BSc (Hons) Children's Nursing, RNDA, and NAA.

Her clinical background spans pediatric emergency nursing and health visiting, with over 12 years of experience as a health visitor and leadership roles in team management. She has extensive experience in practice-based education and staff development.

Her research interests center on early academic writing support for nursing students through peer-marked assessments. While her research is currently at the proposal stage, it reflects her commitment to educational innovation and student success.

Tracey holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). She is currently completing her Master’s in Education (MA Ed), expected in 2025.
