Torin Buzek is a Lecturer in the Fountain School of Performing Arts at Dalhousie University. He specializes in Technical Theatre, with a focus on Scenic Construction, and brings extensive professional experience to his academic role.

Torin has worked in professional theatres across Canada, including Neptune Theatre, Eastern Front Theatre, and the National Arts Centre. For the past 8 years, he served as Head Stage Carpenter at the Studio Theatre, Stratford Shakespeare Festival of Canada. His expertise spans scenic carpentry and stage production, aligning with his academic role in technical theatre.
Outside of Dalhousie, Torin collaborates with his wife, Donna, on managing their heritage cashmere fibre farm, blending practical craftsmanship with creative pursuits.
