Torben Gädt

Prof. Torben Gädt holds the Chair of Construction Chemistry at TUM School of Natural Sciences, Technical University of Munich. His research focuses on sustainable chemistry solutions for construction materials, particularly developing low-CO₂ binders and functional polymers to improve concrete properties. With over 15 years of industrial experience at BASF, he bridges fundamental chemistry with large-scale industrial applications.
