Tor Alexander Bruce is an interdisciplinary researcher at Northumbria University's Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, transitioning from a 12-year career as a charity founder/CEO in the UK's Third Sector. His research bridges Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and cognitive sciences, focusing on trauma-informed digital interventions and immersive technologies like XR (Extended Reality) for mental health and education applications.
