Toon Meelen is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Geosciences, Utrecht University, affiliated with the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development and the Innovation Studies group. He holds a PhD from Utrecht University and was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford (2018–2020). His research focuses on innovations in transport, energy, and housing, with an interdisciplinary approach combining Sustainability Transitions, Innovation Studies, and Political Economy.
