Professor Tony Kushner is the James Parkes Professor of History at the University of Southampton, affiliated with both the History Department and the Parkes Institute. His work spans Jewish migration history, Refugee studies, and Representation and memory of the Holocaust, with additional expertise in Bystander studies and Heritage, history and memory.
- Current Research: Cultural history of Jacob Harris (18th-century Jewish triple murderer); co-presentations to the Holocaust with Dr Aimee Bunting.
- Key Article Trends: Focus on Holocaust memory, urban Jewish communities, migration patterns, and intersections of race, colonialism, and genocide.
