Tony Kemp

Professor Tony Kemp is a geologist and geochemist at the School of Earth Sciences, University of Western Australia. His research focuses on igneous and metamorphic petrology, isotope geochemistry, and geochronology, with an emphasis on continental crust evolution and critical mineral resources. He leads projects on ancient rock sequences, metallogenesis in pegmatites, and crust-mantle interactions, collaborating globally with academia and industry. Kemp holds adjunct roles at James Cook University and serves on editorial boards for journals like Precambrian Research. His work contributes to sustainable resource development and UN SDGs related to energy and technology.
