Dr. Tomoki Arichi is a Clinical Professor of Perinatal Neuroscience at King's College London and Head of the Research Department of Early Life Imaging. He holds an honorary position as a Consultant in Paediatric Neurodisability at the Evelina London Children's Hospital. His work focuses on using advanced neuroimaging techniques (e.g., fMRI, EEG) to study neonatal brain development and injury. He leads collaborations with institutions like Imperial College London's Human Robotics Group to develop rehabilitative tools for infants with brain injuries.
Education: PhD in functional MRI from Imperial College London (2012), MRC Clinician Scientist (2017), and MRC Senior Clinical Fellow (2024). Key awards include the BPNA Ronnie MacKeith Prize (2014) and King's Engaged Research Award (2025).
