Parvaneh Adibpour is a Research Fellow at the Centre for the Developing Brain, King's College London, within the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine, School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences, and Department of Early Life Imaging. She joined in March 2023 and collaborates with Professors Tomoki Arichi and Jonathan O'Muircheartaigh on neonatal neurodevelopmental research.
Her educational background includes:
- PhD completed in 2017
- Postdoctoral training in France (2018-2023) focusing on early sensory and cognitive development
Her research integrates EEG, functional MRI, diffusion MRI, and eye tracking to investigate sensori-motor development in neonates, with particular emphasis on identifying biomarkers for atypical developmental outcomes in high-risk infants. This work bridges clinical neonatology and advanced neuroimaging methodologies to understand foundational neural processes in early life.
She is based at the Centre for the Developing Brain located at St Thomas' Hospital in London, contributing to the institution's leadership in perinatal brain development research.
