Professor Tomasz Komornicki is a prominent academic in the Department of Socio-Economic Geography at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University's Faculty of Earth Sciences and Spatial Management. He simultaneously serves as Head of the Department of Spatial Organization at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, where he previously held the position of Deputy Director from 2010 to 2017. Professor Komornicki also chairs the Committee on Spatial Organization of the Polish Academy of Sciences, demonstrating his leadership in national geographical research.
