Tomas Midttun Tobiassen is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo's Faculty of Law, Department of Public and International Law. His academic work focuses on constitutional rights protections and the interplay between parliamentary and judicial law creation. He holds a Master's in Law (2017) and MA in Philosophy (2014).
His teaching spans Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, International Human Rights, and Civil Procedure. He authored the book *Når myndighetene griper inn - En studie av legalitetsprinsippet i Høyesteretts praksis* (2020) and serves as Editorial Assistant for *Lov og Rett* journal.
Currently, he is a Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School (Fall 2022–Jan 2023), supported by the Fulbright Program.
