Prof Tom Hickman is a Professor of Public Law at University College London's Faculty of Laws and a practising barrister at Blackstone Chambers as King's Counsel. He has held his academic position since October 2013 and has been Standing Counsel to the Investigatory Powers Commissioner since 2017. His expertise spans constitutional law, administrative law, human rights, national security law, and legal history.
