Dr. Tom Williams is a Senior Lecturer in Sport Psychology at St Mary's University, affiliated with the Centre for Applied Performance Science (Injury and Rehabilitation group). He holds a PhD in Sport Injury Psychology from Cardiff Metropolitan University (2020). His research focuses on psychosocial factors influencing recovery from sports injuries, combining academic rigor with applied practice in elite athlete preparation for international competitions. He has contributed to major journals and book chapters on athlete well-being, rehabilitation strategies, and sport coaching education.
